When I first started taking translation jobs online, I thought the biggest platforms would automatically bring the best opportunities, but that wasn’t always the case. Some of my most comfortable projects came from smaller communities where clients were clearer about what they needed and valued communication. While comparing different options, I found that freelancing in the Philippines was a useful direction to explore because many clients there were looking for reliable remote workers. After building a stronger profile and showing previous translations, I noticed the quality of inquiries improved a lot.
