This year’s online virtual dance contest will be open to contestants throughout the Americas, offering more than $8,000 in prize money! Application form is now closed.
We’ll announce the winners on OCT 16, 2021, with an ONLINE powwow viewing.

2021 Dance Competition Rules
Dance Contestants...

may submit to ONE category between July 1st and September 15, 2021 11:59 PM (CST)

must collectively apply to the age group of the category they choose, detailed as followed:

Golden Age: 55+

Adult (Men & Women): 18-55

Youth: 7-17
-
Tiny Tots: 6 & Under

will receive a confirmation email that their application has been received
-
will allow the SS Powwow to upload their video to the powwow’s YouTube channel
-
will have their video listed on sspowwow.com/dancers
-
will find out who wins each category as part of our ONLINE event on October 16, 2021
Dance Videos...

must be recorded outdoors on open ground
-
should feature the contestants in full regalia, reflecting the selected category
-
must be filmed in a wide, "landscape" video mode and not in the vertical "portrait" mode
-
must be uploaded as part of the contestants’ submission
